The Unstoppable Black Bio

The Story of the Black Clouds, a band from 2006 to 2007

The Unstoppable Black Clouds started in the summer of 2006 as a collaboration between Matt and Greggy Most recording demos in Greg's kitchen, with Greg taking all instrument and vocal duties while Matt did the sounds and recording.

A collection of songs resulted from this, including favorite With My Eyes Closed.

Greg and Matt later decided to build a live band and brought on additional musicians Jen (percussion) and Chris (bass). Also, Matt took more of a musician role, playing guitar and synth in the live show.

They played several shows in the Boston area, and recorded a few songs as a band (Wired and Tired, Fifty Fifty)

Eventually the band split, with Chris and Greg moving to New York and Matt remaining in Boston to work on Miette.

The Jingle Bell was a staple of The Unstoppable Black Clouds' sound.
